Job Posting – Online Marketing Specialist

Job description

If you’re an online marketing specialist who enjoys delivering, optimizing and measuring outstanding online programs then this is the job for you. Origin is looking for a part-time contractor to support our Marketing and Interactive Departments in the planning and implementation of a variety of initiatives aimed at increasing traffic to our clients’ websites.

Required experience

The successful candidate will have a post secondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience as well as a recognized/accredited marketing qualification with specific online marketing focus. He or she will have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience with SEO and PPC, a solid foundation in integrated marketing, an ability to analyze and report metrics and a familiarity with online design and development. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated experience in:

SEO
Keyword research
Competitive analysis
Providing recommendations to improve traffic (On and off site optimization)
Continuous tracking and evaluation

PPC
Set up and management of Google Adwords campaigns
Continuous campaign monitoring and evaluation

Web Analytics
Reviewing and reporting website and campaign metrics

A candidate with experience in these additional areas has a definite advantage.

Website Editing
Editing/adding content (text, images and video) on client sites using content management systems, HTML and Flash.

Online Advertising
Presenting online media buy recommendations
Purchasing online media

Link Building
Recommending best practices
Implementation
Continuous monitoring and evaluation

Love of the Mountains
Riding on snow, dirt and mud
Aprés ski/ride
