As a Montreal- and Whistler-based advertising agency, we love the places in which we live. Montreal is as vibrant and creative as any city in North America and Whistler is a culturally-rich mountain town with layers of creative talent that run deep. However, we all hold a special place in our hearts for the Kootenays. The Kootenays boast deep snow, eclectic residents and several of the most authentic ski towns in the world. From this haven of mountain sports and lifestyle comes a quirky wealth of talented creative people. From writers to photogrpahers to filmmakers, the talent pool runs as deep as the powder they get hammered with daily. Simply put, they are the real deal.
One of these talented people is the notorious Dave Heath, a man who is well-known for his stunning outdoor adventure imagery and his larger-than-life persona. This past week, Heath was part of The Gathering, a Red Mountain-based celebration of the legends of ski photography. His contribution to the event was this incredible retro-based slideshow of modern day skiers shredding in yesteryear’s gear. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did – MB
