On April 21st at the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, Origin Design + Communications co-sponsored the Asymbol exhibit grand opening, the new snowsports art project founded by Travis Rice and Mike Parillo. With works by Jamie Lynn, Tim Zimmerman, Danny Zapalac, Parillo and other prominent artists of the snowsports community, the show gave festival goers an opportunity to view some of the incredible artwork coming out of the action sports world. Located at Whistler’s Blake Jorgenson Gallery, the Asymbol opening was arguably the most popular party the gallery has ever seen with art fans and professional athletes packing the place, even spilling into the lobby of the Westin Resort.
Based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Asymbol Gallery “exists to pay tribute to the creative workhorses who have inspired us by making their imagery available to the world. We specialize in iconic, unforgettable images from the snow, surf, and skate worlds that speak to our hearts, open windows into a deeper experience, dare us to dream, and keep us coming back for more. Grande première d’Asymbol à la galerie Blake Jorgenson
Origin Design + Communications a commandité le lancement d’Asymbol, le plus récent projet artistique de Travis Rice et Mike Parillo, dont l’ouverture a eu lieu le 21 avril dernier au Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival. Mettant en vedette des œuvres d’artistes tels Jamie Lynn, Tim Zimmerman, Danny Zapalac, Parillo et plusieurs autres importants membres de la communauté artistique des sports de neige, cette exposition a permis aux visiteurs de prendre le pouls de l’incroyable créativité du monde des sports d’action. Situé dans la galerie Blake Jorgenson à Whistler, le lancement d’Asymbol a été une gigantesque fête où amateurs d’art et athlètes professionnels ont socialisé dans un endroit bondé, la célébration se propageant jusque dans le hall d’entrée du Westin Resort.
